Job Description
We are looking for a junior or mid-level Level 2 Support technician colleague who could help our company in one of our most prestigious, international product development.
The development team is based in Budapest Hungary and Munich Germany, the business side is in the USA and Germany. The development team's language is Hungarian, the whole team uses English.
We are looking for someone who likes to work in a stable workplace and prefers long term product development.
We expect good communication skills in English and Hungarian, positive attitude, along with high level of commitment and responsibility, to be agile and dedicated to high quality work.
Project description
The client is the Sony Music and the project is a product development of one of their core business systems that manages their artist’s royalty and copyright calculation all around the world. Our level 2 support colleague will participate in the technical operation of the projects, maintain the client communication, and will do basic troubleshooting.
Requirements
Education
- BSc /MSc degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering or a related subject or equivalent experience
Experiences
- 2+ years proven experience in IT field
- Experience with AWS (Amazon Cloud) is a plus
Knowledge/Skills
- Strong Linux OS knowledge
- Shell scripts
- Git
- Strong SQL knowledge
- Docker (optional)
- AWS console knowledge (optional)

- Good written & verbal communication skills (English, Hungarian)

Responsibilities
- Maintenance of technical infrastructure (Linux, AWS Console)
- Scheduling and control of batch jobs
- Integration of new clients and setup of new servers
- SQL reports for error and data analysis
- Development and execution of test scripts
- Installation of all system components (SQL - Sybase/PostGres, Web-Services, GIT)
